Fiona McPherson, BA (Hons), Dip SpLD, APC

I'm Fiona McPherson, a Specialist Teacher and Assessor based in Berkshire. I specialise in Dyslexia and Dyspraxia, undertaking full diagnostic assessments.  A positive approach is at the heart of every assessment I do, with the aim of making it an informative and enjoyable experience. It is a collaborative process, providing evidence-based information that can be used to enhance the educational experience and working environment for the individual.

• Over 20 years experience in Special Educational Needs.

• Qualified assessor undertaking diagnostic assessments and exam access arrangement assessments, working with secondary school age children, teenagers and adults.

• Specialist teacher currently working in a secondary school and experienced SENCo.

• Hold a current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC).

• Member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS).

• Member of SASC. 

• Work with a range of schools, individuals and organisations, including the RAF.

• Trained using the ACE+ to identify ADHD in Young People and Adults.

• EMCC accredited Coaching Skills Foundation Course.

• Full professional liability insurance.

• Enhanced DBS.

• Registered with the ICO.
